Julie Melchior LLC

I bring people, processes, and systems together to solve problems, create value, build relationships, and work towards a common goal.

HELLO, I’M JULIE, A CERTIFIED DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

I serve leaders so they can carry out their mission more fruitfully

My entire background has always been handling the behind-the-scenes work. With over 30 years combined experience, I have significant expertise in the areas of business operations and project planning.

I’ve been serving small business owners and leaders in the product, service, and non-profit spaces since 2020. Prior to that, I worked in multiple small businesses and a large financial services firm. I have also functioned as a project lead and been on boards with numerous school, church, and community groups.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME…

My faith, vocation, and family are my drivers. My husband and I have been married for over 25 years and have 3 children and a new son-in-law! I enjoy perusing health and wellness books, checking my vegetable and herb garden, experimenting in the kitchen, lounging with our rescue dog, and sipping iced tea. For a fun creative outlet, I help a florist and event decor company on weekends with floral freelance work (another behind-the-scenes role!). I am a native Kansan and call KC home.

“Do not wish to be anything but what you are, and try to do that perfectly.”

SCHOOL OF FAITH

“Julie is remarkable in her ability to spot problems while also offering solutions to move the needle in the right direction – a rare combo indeed, as most people possess only one of those skill sets. She was tremendously generous with her time and is one of the kindest people I’ve had the honor of working with.”

A touch of lace on my site is a way to honor St. Zelie Martin, the patron saint of my business. She was a beautiful daughter of God, wife, mother, and the owner of a lace-making business. Zelie was an ordinary, yet extraordinary woman, devoted to her family and getting them to heaven.

Creating lace takes much time and the work can be quite tedious. It doesn’t come together until the design is finished. At that point, there is an “aha” moment when you see the pattern and it is beautiful.

Are you ready to see the beautiful design you envisioned for your business?

Interested in some “aha” moments?

“I wish to become a saint; it will not be easy at all. I have a lot of wood to chop and it is hard as stone. I should have started sooner, while it was not so difficult; but in any case, better late than never.”
